TGRWA PROJECTS: NORTHLIGHT THEATER

Construction is underway for the new theater building located in Evanston, IL. The 25,000 square-foot steel-framed building includes a central auditorium surrounded by a 2-story structure, providing additional preparation and rehearsal spaces, storage rooms, offices, and lobbies. A series of catwalks are suspended from the auditorium steel roof structure. The existing foundations at the east and west perimeter walls were utilized to support the structure, which posed additional design challenges and considerations.
