The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo

TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the new outlet retail center which replaced the existing El Portal Center shopping mall. The total 780,000 sq. ft. development consists of (2) 3-story buildings which serve as a major shopping hub in a high-traffic location. The steel framed structures created two levels of shopping concourses. The buildings feature two pedestrian bridges, numerous canopies and awnings, and three large rooftop sunshade structures. The existing drilled piers were integrated into the new foundations.
