The Salvation Army Kroc Center
1250 W 119th St, Chicago, ILTGRWA provided structural engineering services for the new community center building in the West Pullman neighborhood. The 160,000 sq. ft., 2-story building provides multifunctional space to the community. The steel framed structure includes numerous areas of long-span framing and a large curved entrance canopy. The building includes a full-service fitness center and gym with multiple basketball courts, indoor competition pool and water park, elevated running track, auditorium, event spaces, classrooms, and a church.
