Salvation Army Freedom Center

TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the new community center building in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood. The 202,000 sq. ft., 4-story building provides multifunctional space to the community. The precast concrete and steel framed structure includes long-span framing to accommodate two gymnasiums. The building provides a Harbor Light Center offering rehabilitation treatment services, a Pathway Forward program for community reintegration, classrooms, offices, temporary living quarters, and a chapel.
