TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the $24Mnew boutique hotel located adjacent to the O’Hare airport in Rosemont’s The Pearl District development.The100,000sq. ft., 5-story,165 guestroom hotel is a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel brand. The 1-story steel framed podium structure supports a 5-story cold formed steel framing bearing wall structure above. The hotel features a café area, meeting rooms, amenity spaces, and a fitness center. A large porte cochere greets guests at the hotel’s entrance. The ends of the building have a façade which slopes significantly outward from the ground up to the roof.
