Presence Center For Advanced Care St. Joseph Hospital

TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the new ambulatory care center and medical office building in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The 380,000 sq. ft., 10-story building is adjacent to the existing St. Joseph Hospital campus and houses a cancer center and surgical suites including for eye surgery. The post-tensioned and reinforced concrete structure includes (3) lower parking levels and a pedestrian bridge to connect to the existing hospital. The building contains highly sensitive medical equipment: MRI scanner, eye surgery equipment, and a linear accelerator within a concrete vault. The building features a large entrance canopy and a mechanical penthouse.
