Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital Expansion

TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the multi-phase four horizontal additions to the existing hospital. The 28,000 sq. ft., 2-story addition for the intensive care unit department and (3) new entrance vestibule additions expanded the Northwester Medicine facility. The steel framed structures interfaced with the existing steel framed structure. All (4) additions included new steel and glass framed canopies to highlight the renovated hospital entrances. The main open lobby space was renovated with a new steel framed roof structure replacing the existing roof structure at a lower elevation.
