TGRWA was the Engineer of Record for two new stand-alone buildings in an under-utilized locations in the Village of Rosemont’s growing dining district. Both structures utilize cold-formed members spanning to steel girders and columns. Steel moment frames and cold-formed stud shear walls make up the lateral system of the buildings. One of the restaurants features a large wood trellis, while the other has a large operable skylight over the dining room that posed a unique design challenge.
